Colonial Acres is a development in the
northeast corner of Freehold Township. Built between 1980 and
1984, the development has 251 homes - colonials, split-levels
and ranches, with 3,4, or 5 bedrooms. Most homes have basements.
School age children attend Applegate
Elementary School, Eisenhower Middle School and the Freehold
Regional High School District. The default high school is
Freehold Boro. You can walk to NYC buses.
The
Freehold Regional High School District consists of 6 high
schools - Manalapan, Marlboro, Freehold Township, Freehold,
Howell and Colts Neck. Children usually attend the closest high
school - Stonehurst students will attend Freehold Township
High School.
Each
of the six high schools has a specialized Learning Centers for
students who are highly motivated and talented. All students
from the region are eligible for enrollment, admission is

leadership development academy
At
all of the high schools, SAT scores consistently exceed state
and national averages, and more than 87 percent of the
district's students pursue higher education.

$400,000's to the lower $500,000's.

Transit and Academy Bus Lines offer bus service to NYC on Route
9, which is within walking distance.
